March — Hektar Asset Management announced signing of Joint-Venture Agreement with Frasers Centrepoint Limited, part of the Fraser & Neave Group, listed in Singapore. Frasers Centrepoint Limited to acquire 40% of Hektar Asset Management and jointly manage Hektar REIT.

February — Hektar REIT FY2007 DPU declared at 10.71 sen (9.89 sen annualised) for 13 month period ended December 2007, which is 11.2% higher than its prospectus forecast issued 15 November 2006.

May — Hektar Asset Management announced Cornerstone Investment by Frasers Centrepoint Trust, a Singapore-listed REIT focused on retail. Frasers Centrepoint Trust acquired a 27% stake in Hektar REIT.

April — Hektar Asset Management announced first quarter results for Hektar REIT and quarterly dividend distribution policy.

December — Hektar REIT listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 4 December 2006 as Malaysia’s first retail-focused REIT. Portfolio valued at RM512 million.
