Subject NEW ISSUE OF SECURITIES (CHAPTER 6 OF LISTING REQUIREMENTS) OTHER ISSUE OF SECURITIES
Description HEKTAR REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUST ("HEKTAR REIT") INCOME DISTRIBUTION REINVESTMENT PLAN APPLICABLE TO THE 2023 INTERIM INCOME DISTRIBUTION ("2ND IDRP")

We refer to the earlier announcements dated 28 August 2023, 29 August 2023 and 1 September 2023 in relation to the 2023 Interim Income Distribution.

On 28 August 2023, the Board determined that the IDRP shall apply to the entire 2023 Interim Income Distribution, where the gross electable portion will be the entire 2.7 sen per unit (bound by respective withholding tax rates). In this regard, all approvals pursuant to the 2nd IDRP have been obtained.

On behalf of the Board, UOBKH wishes to announce that the issue price of the new units to be issued pursuant to the 2nd IDRP has been fixed today ("Price-Fixing Date") at RM0.5586 per new unit.

The issue price is calculated based on the 5-day volume weighted average market price of the units immediately preceding the Price-Fixing Date of RM0.6341, after deducting for the 2023 Interim Income Distribution and thereafter applying a discount of approximately 7.99%.

On behalf of the Board, UOBKH also wishes to announce that the books closure date for the 2023 Interim Income Distribution and 2nd IDRP shall be on 18 September 2023.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the new units arising from the 2nd IDRP is expected to be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 17 October 2023.
